Who We Are
My name is Nick Arnold. As the proud Humboldt County-born and raised owner of Arnold’s Family Construction, growing up I developed a passion for creating beautiful homes through hard work and innovation. I have worked in the construction industry for 13 years in large and small scale companies. My experience includes working residential and commercial construction. I love this community, its natural beauty, and the values we share.

Matthew Robinson
Apprentice Carpenter
Matthew joined the Arnold’s Family Construction team in June 2025 as an apprentice carpenter. We're proud to help teach the next generation the beauty and rewards of the trade. Matthew is a hardworking team member with a great attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile—we’re grateful to have him on board.
Tiernan Langtry
Financial Officer
Tiernan joined our team in June 2025. She is currently majoring in finance at Cal Poly Humboldt. We're incredibly grateful to have Tiernan on board—she's a wizard with numbers and excels at streamlining our operations to ensure we deliver quality work on reasonable timelines.
Emma Arnold
Business Office Manager
Emma started Arnold’s Family Construction with her husband, Nick, in October 2023. She has worked in administrative roles throughout Humboldt County since 2011. Although her primary role at AFC is not in the field, you may occasionally see her checking on the crew, taking progress photos, or assisting with minor projects. In addition to managing operations, Emma also oversees the Marketing and Financial divisions of the company.
